Programme Areas

CEPR's research is carried out under the auspices of the seven Programme Areas listed below. Each Programme Area consists of a number of research projects. The links below provide information on the research that each programme covers.

CEPR has founded an Economic History Initiative, which spans a number of Programme Areas.

CEPR researchers have produced research under the auspices of four other programme areas that are no longer active:

  • Institutions and Economic Policy (1 September 2006)
  • Transition Economics (succeeded by Institutions and Economic Performance, Jan 1, 2004)
  • Applied Macroeconomics (succeeded by Financial Economics and industrial Organization, February 1994)
  • Human Resources (succeeded by Labour Economics and Public Policy, November 1998)

Abstracts of Discussion Papers produced under the auspices of these Programme Areas are available here.
