After six years at the helm, Tavneet Suri has announced she is stepping back from her role as Editor-in-Chief of VoxDev.

Under Tavneet’s leadership, VoxDev has published 698 columns, 122 videos, 195 podcasts, and six VoxDevLits, from over 1350 different contributing authors. During this time, VoxDev has had over two million page views from over 930,000 users, and has become a valuable source of analysis on policy issues across the developing world.

In this column, Tavneet Suri celebrates six years of VoxDev, hands over the reigns, and announces changes in the governance of VoxDev. There will no longer be an Editor-in-Chief on the masthead of VoxDev and instead, there will be a bigger board working together to run and manage it. Chris Woodruff and Robin Burgess will stay on the Editorial Board for the next couple of months to help with the transition, a process which starts off with Michael Callen, Stefano Caria, Namrata Kala, and Robert Darko Osei joining the board.

CEPR would like to thank Tavneet for the work she has done in founding and leading VoxDev, and looks forward to seeing the direction the new board takes as they settle in and move forward.
