Research Project Management
Researchers often propose ideas for new research initiatives to CEPR: these are always welcome, especially those with policy relevance. Proposals might involve publications, workshops or conferences as well as support for new research itself. All these ideas are first discussed with the appropriate Programme Directors, to ensure they fit well with the Programme’s research themes and are of an appropriately high standard.
The Centre also takes the initiative when it learns of new funding opportunities. Projects team reviews upcoming opportunities, alerts the appropriate researchers and works with interested researchers to prepare proposals.
The Projects team at CEPR manages the submission of funding applications and the negotiation of contracts. It is also responsible for ensuring that CEPR activities funded by a grant fulfil the conditions of the relevant contract.
