The second CEPR Economic History Symposium will take place in Vienna, 25-26 September 2014. The event will be organised by Steve Broadberry (London School of Economics and CEPR), Clemens Jobst (Oesterreichische Nationalbank and CEPR) and Kevin O’Rourke (University of Oxford and CEPR).
The symposium aims to bring together leading researchers in the field.
One session will be devoted to the ongoing preparations of the OeNB for the 200 year anniversary of the bank in 2016. In a keynote lecture Marc Flandreau will present historical lessons for the current debate on the introduction of Euro bonds.
