Symposium Location:  Grand Hotel, Malahide, Dublin. There will be a drinks reception on Wednesday 8 June at 19:00. This will be held in the Griffon Bar within the hotel. 

From Dublin Airport:

Taxi: Fare is approximately €20-€25, and journey time is approximately 20 minutes, traffic dependent.

Public transport: Dublin Bus number 102 from outside terminals 1 & 2 at Dublin Airport to stop ‘Malahide Village Garda/Police Station’.  Fare is €2.70 IN EXACT COINS ONLY, pay on the bus. The journey time is 30-40mins, traffic dependent.

By Car: From the Airport exit, proceed straight ahead onto the M1/N1. Take the Malahide exit onto the R139 (formerly N32) for 4km. At the Malahide Road junction (Landmark: Hotel on left and Tesco on right), turn left onto the Malahide Road, R107, and drive 5km to Malahide.

From Dublin City:

Fastest public transport is the Dart Rail system from Pearse Street, Tara Street or Connolly Stations, in the direction of Malahide. Purchase tickets in the station, fare is €3.25, and journey time is 30 mins.

Accommodation:

Rooms have been booked in the Grand Hotel, Malahide, Dublin for those that requested accommodation. This is the same as the conference venue, so no travelling will be required during the day. 

Wednesday night's dinner:

Dinner is booked for 20:00 and is approximately a 4 minute walk from the conference venue. The dinner will be at Nautilus Restaurant, 9 Marine Court, The Green, Malahide. Rebecca Stuart will also be available to meet people in the lobby of the Grand Hotel from 19:45 in order to walk together to the restaurant if desired.
