Transport from the airport to the venue
The Geneva International Airport provides a free bus/ train ticket to all passengers arriving into Geneva. You can get the ticket in the baggage collection area before going through customs. The ticket machines are located on both sides of the green channel of customs. If you miss these machines, you can buy a ticket at the bus stop or train station. A single ticket costs 3.50 CHF and is valid for one hour. The machines do not give change, but accept Euro coins.
To reach central Geneva, it is usually easiest to take the train situated within the airport. To reach the train station after exiting customs, simply turn left and walk the length of the terminal. Trains depart to Geneva main station (Gare Cornavin) every 20 minutes.
Directly from the Airport you can take instead the bus n. 28 towards Jardin Botanique and get off at Nations ((duration 12 min and 5 min. walk) and walk in avenue de France toward Maison de la Paix).
It is a 20 minute journey costing approximately 40 CHF
To claim for reimbursement of travel expenses you have incurred, please keep originals of all the receipts (tickets, taxi visa receipts etc) and send them within the duly filled form to:
