The CEPR Annual meeting of the Macroeconomics and Growth programme will be hosted by the London Business School on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 November, 2016. The organisers are Francesco Caselli (London School of Economics and CEPR) and Elias Papaioannou (London Business School and CEPR).

The keynote speaker is Chad Jones (Standford GSB and NBER).

The Macroeconomics and Growth (MG) Programme is one of the three successors to the old International Macroeconomics (IM) Programme.

Research in the MG programme covers long-run macroeconomic issues including:

•   Economic growth;
•   Inequality;
•   Political economy;
•   Structural change;
•   Macroeconomic aspects of development.

The programme is directed by Francesco Caselli (London School of Economics and CEPR).
