Room: all sessions, with the exception of the lunch and keynote lecture at 1.30pm on Friday 18 November will be held in LT2 in the Ratcliffe Building of the LBS. The keynote lecture and lunch will take place at the Park Restaurant at LBS.

Registration will be located at the reception of the Ratcliffe Building and starts at 12pm on Thursday 17 November 2016. You will then be directed to the lunch area on the RLG Platform (near to LT2). All coffee breaks will take place here also. You will pick up your badge, conference materials and wi-fi access codes.

Directions to the London Business School (LBS) and the Danubius Hotel Regent's Park

The nearest underground stations to LBS are Marylebone (on the Bakerloo line) and Baker Street (on the Jubilee, Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan lines). Both stations are in Zone 1.

The nearest underground stations to the Danubius Hotel Regents Park are St. John’s Wood (on the Jubilee Line) or Baker Street (on the Jubilee, Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan lines). St John’s Wood is in Zone 2.

From Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Express trains depart from Heathrow Airport every 15 minutes and the journey time to Paddington station is 15 minutes. A standard return ticket will cost £34.00 if purchased from the ticket office before boarding. For more information about the Heathrow Express, please see www.heathrowexpress.com 

At Paddington, buy a Zone 1 single ticket in cash (£4.90), or if you use an Oyster / contactless card (£2.40) for underground travel. Take the South-bound Bakerloo line (three stops), or the West-bound Circle line or Hammersmith and City line (two stops) to Baker Street.

If travelling direct to Danubius Hotel Regents Park, buy a Zones 1-2 ticket in cash (£4.90), or if you use an Oyster / contactless card (£2.40) for underground travel. Take the South-bound Bakerloo line (three stops) and change for the North-bound Jubilee line (one stop) to St John’s Wood.

 

From Gatwick Airport

The Gatwick Express train offers high-speed travel between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria station, with a journey time of just 30 minutes. A standard single fare is £19.90 (£17.80 online) and a standard return is £34.90 (£31.10 online).  For more information about the Gatwick Express, please see www.gatwickexpress.com

At Victoria station, buy a Zone 1 single ticket in cash (£4.90) or use an Oyster / contactless card (£2.40) for underground travel. Take the North-bound Victoria line and change at Green Park for the North-bound Jubilee line and get off at Baker Street for LBS, or St. John’s Wood for Danubius Hotel Regents Park.

 

From Luton Airport

Luton Airport is served by a high frequency shuttle bus service connecting the airport with Luton Airport Parkway rail station in just 8 minutes.  Passengers arriving at the airport or at the station without purchasing a rail ticket will pay a bus fare of £1.50 single, £2.50 Standard Open Return. 

At Luton Airport Parkway station, take the Thameslink train to St. Pancras International (journey time approximately 30 - 40 minutes; a standard open return costs £24.50). For more information about Thameslink services visit: http://www.thameslinkrailway.com/tickets-and-fares/

From St. Pancras International it is a short walk (follow the signs) to King’s Cross and St. Pancras underground station, where you will need to buy a Zone 1 single ticket in cash (£4.90) or use an Oyster / contactless card (£2.40) for underground travel. Take the West-bound Circle, Hammersmith & City or the Metropolitan line 3 stops to Baker Street.

 

From Stansted Airport

The Stansted Express departs every 15 minutes during peak hours, seven days a week. The journey time is 40 minutes and a return ticket will cost £32. The station is located within the terminal and the line goes to Liverpool Street station in London. For more information about the Stansted Express, please see www.stanstedexpress.com

At Liverpool Street Station, buy a Zone 1 single ticket in cash (£4.90) or use an Oyster / contactless card (£2.40) for underground travel. Take the West-bound Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitan line and get off at Baker Street.

 

From London City Airport

London City Airport is on the DLR line with a 22-minute journey time to Bank station. The DLR is integrated with the underground system. Either an oyster / contactless card (fare £2.80 off-peak /£3.30 peak times) or single ticket for Zones 1-3 (£4.90) will be valid. The DLR station is situated 50 yards from the Airport terminal. At Bank Station, get onto the East-bound Central line and change at Bond Street for the North-bound Jubilee Line, then travel one stop to Baker Street for LBS, or two stops to St John’s Wood for Danubius Regents Park Hotel.

 

From King’s Cross – St. Pancras International train station

If you are travelling by Eurostar, you will arrive at St. Pancras International station. From St. Pancras International it is a short walk (follow the signs) to King’s Cross and St. Pancras underground station, where you will need to buy a Zone 1 single ticket in cash (£4.90) or use an Oyster / contactless card (£2.40) for underground travel. Take the Hammersmith & City or the Circle line 3 stops to Baker Street.

 

Meals

Breakfast should be taken at the hotel.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided at LBS during the breaks in the programme.

There is a conference dinner for invited participants only at 7.15pm, Thursday 17 November 2016. Your email confirmation will indicate if you have a place on the dinner.  

Dietary requirements can be accommodated if and as indicated in advance.
