NON FUNDED PARTICIPANTS THAT REQUESTED ACCOMMODATION

DIRECTIONS to UNA HOTEL MEDITERRANEO
If you are arriving by train or from Linate airport, it is best to take a taxi to the hotel/IGIER. It will cost about 15-20 euro.
If you are arriving from Malpensa airport, please take the Malpensa Express train to Cadorna Station and then a taxi to the hotel/IGIER. The Malpensa Express service links the center of Milan with the intercontinental hub at Malpensa Airport (Terminal 1, basement level) with 129 trains a day, between 4.28 and 0.26 a.m. Terminal 1, for international traffic, is connected to Terminal 2, dedicated mainly to low-cost traffic, by a free 24-hour shuttle service.

DIRECTIONS from HOTEL to IGIER-Bocconi
The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from IGIER. IGIER is located in the big new Bocconi building in Via Rontgen, number 1. You can easily recognize it as it is all made of concrete and glass.
Una Hotel Mediterraneo is located near Porta Romana. If you want to use public transportation, here you will find a metro station and also a tram station. To get to Bocconi you can take in Porta Romana the tram n.9 (direction P.ta Genova) and get off after 5 stops at Porta Lodovica. From Porta Romana the underground can also take you directly to the city center in less than 5 minutes.
In case you want to walk to IGIER Bocconi, upon leaving the hotel, if you go westward you can either walk on Viale Filippetti and then viale Beatrice D’Este arriving straight to Porta Lodovica or you can go along viale Sabotino and then get to viale Bligny until you get to Rontgen. Below please find a map of the neighborhood.
It is of course perfectly fine to take a taxi directly to IGIER.

VENUE
The pre conference will take place in Seminar Room 5-E4-sr04 (5°floor, corridor E4, room Sr04), via Roentgen 1. All participants coming from outside of Bocconi University and attending the Pre-Conference must download and complete a Visitors form and send it to Silvia at [email protected] along with a scan of your ID (passport / EU ID card / drivers licence). Please send this by Tuesday 27 September. 

For security reasons, access to some of the buildings at Bocconi are controlled and they need these forms to be signed/accompanied with ID. Completing and returning this form to IGIER in advance will greatly quicken the ‘check in’ process with security on the day (otherwise you’ll be in a queue with 20 others – just for our conference alone – on Friday morning).
The Conference (from the lunch on day 1 onwards) will take place in room N03, Velodromo Building, p.za Sraffa 13. Access to this building is not controlled by security, so there’s no need to send the form if one is attending the Conference only.
Please remember to just register at the entrance of the conference in order to get your personal Conference Badge, which will allow you to access the catering facilities. Lunches and Coffee breaks will be served outside the conference room.

DINNER
The dinner on Friday night will take place at 8pm at the Restaurant “Cantina della Vetra” - Ristorante Enoteca – via Pio IV, 3 – Milano. The restaurant is within walking distance from Bocconi (10-15 minutes).
