Congratulations to CEPR Researchers Vincent Pons and Julia Cagé, who have received the 2023 best young French economist award. Awarded by Le Monde and the Cercle des économistes,  the prize recognises the accomplishments and contributions of French economists under the age 41 and their contribution to public debate.

Julia Cagé is a Research Fellow for CEPR's Public Economics, Industrial Organization and Economic History programmes and Leader for CEPR's Media Plurality Research Policy Network. Julia is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Sciences Po Paris and co-director of the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP)’s “Evaluation of Democracy” research group. 

Vincent Pons is a Research Affiliate for CEPR's Political Economy and Development Economics programmes. Vincent is an Associate Professor of Business Administration in the Business, Government, and International Economy Unit at Harvard Business School and a Faculty Affiliate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).
