Aakriti Mathur holds a PhD in international economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva. Her research covers topics in banking and banking regulation, corporate governance, and monetary policy transmission and communication. She will be joining the Bank of England as an economist in Fall 2020, and has previously worked at the Bank for International Settlements, World Bank, World Trade Organisation, and National Institute of Public Finance & Policy. She holds a MSc from University College London and a BA (Hons) from University of Delhi.
