Adam Storeygard is an Associate Professor of Economics at Tufts University, with research interests in development and urban economics, and particularly in urbanisation, transportation, and the economic geography of sub-Saharan Africa. Much of his work uses geographic data, including satellite data. His research has appeared in journals including the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, and Nature. He serves as a co-Editor of Regional Science and Urban Economics, and has worked as a consultant to the World Bank on many projects. A graduate of Harvard and Cambridge, he received a PhD from Brown University in 2012.
