Alberto Bisin is Professor of Economics at New York University. He is an elected fellow of the Econometric Society. He is also fellow of the NBER, CEPR, CESS at NYU. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Comparative Economics. His main contributions are in the fields of Social Economics, Financial Economics, and Behavioral Economics. He is co-editor of the Handbook of Financial Economics. Finally, he is founding editor of noiseFromAmerika.org and contributes op-eds for the italian newspaper La Repubblica.
