Albulena Shala

Albulena Shala currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Prishtina, Kosovo. In 2018, she completed her PhD studies in the field of banking and finance. With over ten years of experience, she has worked as a lecturer in both public and private higher education institutions. She teaches courses in banking and finance, including Banking, Banking Management, Financial Technology, Digital Finance, and Derivative Instruments. Since 2021, she has served as an external expert for COST ACTION 19130, which focuses on Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance, aiming to foster a transparent financial industry (FinAI). In August 2024, she was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of "Banka Ekonomike SH.A." Additionally, she has participated as a member of the scientific and organizational committees for numerous international conferences, and she has published many scientific articles in international journals related to the banking sector, financial technology, and ESG issues.
