Alena Bičáková is Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI, Prague, the joint workplace of the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences and of Charles University Prague. During 2005-2007, she was Research Fellow at the Finance and Consumption Programme, European University Institute, Florence. Her research interests include the interaction of labor supply and labor market institutions, wage rigidity, adverse selection and moral hazard in consumer credit markets, or self-control and consumer credit counselling.
