Alessandro Tondini

Alessandro Tondini is an applied micro-economist, currently working as a research fellow at the Research Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies of the Bruno Kessler Foundation. He received his PhD at the Paris School of Economics, and was then a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute. His field of expertise is the evaluation of labor market policies, both at the worker and firm level, with experience both in developing and developed countries. Specifically, Alessandro has worked extensively on the labor market effects of large cash transfers programs in South Africa, and on the effects of working time regulations in several European countries.
