Alexander Al-Haschimi

Senior Economist, External Developments Division at European Central Bank

Alexander Al-Haschimi is an Economist in the External Developments Division of the European Central Bank. He previously worked as an Assistant Economist in the research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He holds an undergraduate and master’s degree in economics from Columbia University and the University of Oxford, respectively, and conducted his PhD studies at the University of Cambridge. His research interests focus mainly on applied macroeconometrics, global modelling and trade.
