Alexander Sandkamp

Assistant Professor of Economics at Kiel University

Prof. Dr. Alexander Sandkamp is Assistant Professor of Economics, in particular Quantitative Trade at the University of Kiel (CAU) and Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW). He read Economics & Management at Pembroke College (University of Oxford) and holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as an MSc in Managerial and Financial Economics from HEC Paris. He completed his PhD at the ifo Institute for Economic Research and the University of Munich (LMU). His research and consulting activities focus on the application of gravity models to evaluate trade policy.
