Alexandra Spitz-Oener is a Professor at the Department of Business and Economics at Humboldt-University Berlin and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Employment Research. She received her "diplom" in economics in 2000 and her Ph.D. in economics in 2004, both from the University of Mannheim. Her research focuses on skill-bias technological change. She is also interested in topics related to the wage structure, education and migration.
