Alexandre is a postdoctoral fellow at the Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy & Finance at Princeton University. He has a PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics. His research interests are in the fields of Macroeconomics and International Trade. In the former field, he has worked on entrepreneurship, focusing on entrepreneurial insurance and the businesses for sale market. In the latter field, his research has focused on the role of markups in generating a strong relationship between GDP/TFP cross-country correlations and international trade in intermediate inputs, providing a quantitative solution for the Trade Comovement Puzzle.
