Alexandros Vardoulakis is the Chief of Macroprudential Policy Analysis at the Federal Reserve Board. He received his DPhil in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School. His principal areas of research are banking and regulation, digital assets and CBDC, macro-finance, monetary theory and policy. He is currently doing research on the effects of financial regulation on financial stability and real economic activity.
