Aline Bütikofer has been a professor at NHH since 2019 where she is also a faculty affiliate of the Centre for Experimental Research on Fairness, Inequality and Rationality (FAIR).
She received her PhD from the Department of Economics at the University of Bern in 2011, and has held visiting positions at Boston College and University of California Davis since then.
Aline’s main research interests include labor economics, health economics, and applied econometrics. Her current projects are on estimating the long-run and intergenerational effects of investments in children’s health, health inequalities, and the effect of medical innovation on labor market outcomes.
