Almut Balleer is professor of applied economics at RWTH Aachen University since 2012. She gained her doctoral degree from the University of Bonn in 2009 and has worked as an assistant professor at the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES) at Stockholm University where she is a research affiliate now. She is also research professor at the ifo Institute Munich and research affiliate at CEPR. Her main research fields of interest are macroeconomics, applied econometrics and labor economics.
