Andrea Bernini is a Career Development Fellow in Economics at Mansfield College and a Stipendiary Lecturer in Economics at Trinity College. He previously taught economics (as a Lecturer or Tutor) at several Oxford colleges, including Lincoln College, St Edmund Hall, St Catherine’s College, Jesus College, and Merton College. He obtained a PhD (DPhil) in Economics and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, and was a visiting research fellow at the University of Venice, the European University Institute, and Harvard University. His research interests lie at the intersection of political economy and economic history, and he investigates the impact of policies on representation, minority rights, inclusion, enfranchisement, and social unrest.
