I am a Visiting PostDoc at the Harris School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago. I completed my Ph.D. in Economics and Finance at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, in February 2014. I am also a Research Affiliate at IZA and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Starting from August 2015 I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Munich (LMU). My research interests are in applied econometrics, labour economics, economics of migration, economics of education, and political economy.
