Andreas Tischbirek is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Lausanne. He holds a DPhil (PhD) and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and an MA from the University of Munich. He was a Junior Fellow of the Royal Economic Society and an academic visitor at the International Monetary Fund, the Federal Reserve Board and Columbia University. His research interests lie in macroeconomics, monetary economics and macro-finance, particularly in monetary policy and applications of information economics.
