Andreas Uthemann is a senior economist at the Bank of Canada and a research associate of the London School of Economic's Systemic Risk Centre. His research is in financial economics with a particular interest in market structure and design, financial intermediation, and financial regulation. Before joining the Bank of Canada, he was a research officer at the London School of Economics. He received his PhD in Economics from University College London.
