Andrew Atkeson is the Stanley M. Zimmerman Professor of Finance and Economics and the Director of the Business Economics Program at UCLA. He is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a Fellow of the Econometric Society, and a Consultant to the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. His research focuses on various topics in macroeconomics and finance, including dynamic contract theory and the impact of monetary policy on both financial markets and the macroeconomy. He has served on the editorial boards of the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the American Economic Review, the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, and the Journal of International Economics.
