Angel Aguiar

Research Economist, Center for Global Trade Analysis at Purdue University, Indianapolis

Angel Aguiar is a Research Economist working on the Global Trade, Assistance and Production (GTAP) Data Base. He teaches at the GTAP Short Courses and performseconomic research using the GTAP framework. He was a visiting scholar in the Economics Department at the University of Melbourne. He has also lectured economic modeling to undergraduate students at Ecuador’s National Polytechnic School. Angel earned a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University.
