Angel Cuevas Rumin

Ramón y Cajal Fellow, Department of Telematic Engineering at Universidad Carlos III De Madrid

Ángel Cuevas received his MSc in Telecomunication Engineering, MSc in Telematics Engineering, and Ph.D. in Telematics Engineering from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2006, 2007, and 2011 respectively. He is currently a Ramón y Cajal Fellow (tenure-track Assistant Professor) in the Department of Telematic Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Adjunct Professor at Institut Mines-Telecom SudParis. His research interests focus on Internet Measurements, Web Transparency, Privacy and P2P Networks. He is co-author of more than 50 papers in prestigious international journals and conferences such as IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, Elsevier Computer Networks, IEEE Network, IEEE Communications Magazine, WWW, ACM CONEXT, ACM CHI and USENIX Security. He is recipient of the Best Paper Award in ACM MSWiM 2010. His research has been highlighted in relevant news outlets such as the Financial Times, NewsScientists, The Sunday Times, Le Figaro, El País, TVE, and RTS.
