Angelo Frattarelli is Assistant Chief in Civil Trial Section, Southern Region at the US Department of Justice's Tax Division, a position he has held since January 2007. From February 1991 until then his title was Trial Attorney. In that capacity he received numerous outstanding attorney commendations as well as two John Marshall awards.
