Anil Ari is an economist in the European Department of the IMF. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge. His research interests are in Macroeconomics, International Finance and Banking. He has previously been awarded a Lamfalussy Research Fellowship by the European Central Bank, a Junior Fellowship by the Royal Economic Society and the Klaus Liebscher Award by the Oesterreichische Nationalbank.
