Anna Helmke is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. She graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a Ph.D. in Finance. Her research focuses on financial markets, financial intermediation and portfolio theory. She studies the problems faced by investors, asset managers and regulators, and is particularly interested in the rise of index investing.
