Anna Ilyina

Adviser in the European Department at International Monetary Fund

Anna Ilyina is currently an Adviser in the European Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where she heads the Emerging Economies Division. The Division carries out cross-country analytical work and produces a semi-annual Regional Economic Issues Report on the Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. In recent years, Ms. Ilyina worked on the Global Financial Stability Report (in the IMF's Monetary and Capital Markets Department) and on the Vulnerability and Early Warning Exercise (in the IMF's Strategy, Policy, and Review Department). Her research interests include macro-financial, macro-prudential, banking and capital markets issues. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
