Anton Cheremukhin is a Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. His research focuses on business cycle dynamics of the U.S. labour market and modeling it from the point of view of search and matching models. More recently, Anton has worked on the application of information theory to modeling economic behavior, and on understanding economic transformation and growth in developing countries in a historical perspective. Anton received his PhD in economics in 2010 from the University of California, Los Angeles.
