Post graduate studies in the Department of History and Civilization in the European University Institute and PHD in economics in the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares. Served as Chief Editor on Revista de Historia Economica- Journal of Iberian and Latin American Economic History and Director of the Figuerola Institute of Social Sience History. His current research interests are on the field of the International Economic History in19th and 20th century.
