Apoorva Gupta

Apoorva Gupta is a post-doctoral researcher at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE) at the University of Düsseldorf. She obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Nottingham, and previously studied at the London School of Economics and University of Delhi. Apoorva's research interests are at the intersection of industrial organization, international trade and economics of innovation. Her work focuses on the drivers and strategies that foster firm growth and competitiveness in both international and domestic markets, with an emphasis on the role of innovation. Her professional experience includes roles with the World Bank Group, the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in India, the Asian Development Bank, and the Reserve Bank of India.
