Artjoms Ivlevs is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Bristol Business School, University of the West of England, Bristol, and a Research Fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA), Bonn. His research revolves around the broad themes of migration, corruption, happiness and education, with a focus on the post-socialist countries of Central and Eastern Europe. His work appeared in the Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Population Economics, and Public Choice. Ivlevs is a Subject Editor of the policy brief series IZA World of Labor and the coordinator of the Global Migration Network – a group of academics and practitioners interested in migration-related issues, based at the University of the West of England.
