Aureo de Paula is a faculty member at University College London and a research fellow with the Institute for Fiscal Studies and the Centre for Microdata Methods and Practice. His research focuses on applied microeconomics and micro econometrics. He has worked on tax evasion, risky behaviour in Africa and the econometric analysis of duration and strategic interaction models among other topics. He holds a B.A. and M.Sc. from PUC-Rio and a Ph.D. from Princeton University and was previously affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania.
