Head of the Financial Analysis Division in the Economic Research Area at Bank Of Italy

Aviram Levy is Head of the Financial Analysis Division in the Economic Research Area of the Bank of Italy. He graduated at Bocconi University and received an M.A. in Economics from Yale University. In 1995-97 he was seconded by the Bank of Italy to the European Monetary Institute in Frankfurt as Economist. Since 1999 he is a member of the G10 Governors’ Committee on the Global Financial System. In 2007 and 2008 he has been “alternate member” of the EU Economic and Financial Committee. His research interests include financial markets, financial innovation, European financial integration.
