Ayse Kaya

Assistant Professor of Political Science at Swarthmore College

Ayse Kaya is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Swarthmore College. Her research focuses on global economic governance, particularly the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. She has also written on global economic inequality. She has a BA from Wellesley College and a PhD from the London School of Economics. She has been a Post-doctoral Research Scholar and Visiting Research Scholar at Columbia University’s inter-disciplinary Committee on Global Thought, Co-chaired by Joseph Stiglitz. Some of her recent work is published/forthcoming in Review of International Political Economy, Journal of International Relations and Development, International Politics, Global Policy, European Journal of Development Research, and the Brookings Institution.
