Baldeep is a Research Associate at the International Vaccine Access Center. She received her MSPH in Health Policy and Management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research interests are centered on utilizing qualitative research skills, community-based participatory research strategies, and human-centered design to improve vaccine uptake and acceptance. She has a particular interest in understanding multi-level perceptions that impact disparities in vaccine acceptance in low-and-middle income countries, while simultaneously using this knowledge to support local policy change to improve vaccine coverage. Previously, Baldeep worked as a healthcare consultant with a specific focus on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act at the state Health Exchange level.
