Bartosz Maćkowiak is Lead Economist in the Directorate General Research at the European Central Bank and a CEPR Research Fellow. Bartosz holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University and a B.A. in Economics from Amherst College. His fields of interest are Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Information Economics. His current research focuses on rational inattention and models of the business cycle. Prior to joining the ECB, Bartosz was Junior Professor at Humboldt University Berlin.
