Bin Ni

Bin Ni is an associate professor in the Faculty of Economics, Hosei University. He also serves as a consultant at the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). His research interests include, but are not limited to international trade, foreign direct investment, economic development and policy evaluation in developing nations. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Osaka University. His recent publications focus on how foreign direct investment can affect the local economy through the channels of technology spillovers, employment, and environment in the context of Vietnam. He has worked as a research assistant in the United Nations (UNESCAP) and was a visiting scholar in Rutgers University, New Jersey.
