Bing Zhang

Bing Zhang is a professor of environmental economics and policy at School of Environment and School of Government at Nanjing University. He is also the director of Center for Environmental Management and Policy Analysis which is supported by Nanjing University and Jiangsu Environmental Protection Department. His research focuses on environmental governance and policy in China. He mainly examines the impacts of environmental policy and enforcement mechanism design on environmental pollution in China, as well as industrial competitiveness, structure dynamic and social welfare. He is also involved in a couple of environmental policies design in China, such as environmental information disclosure, emission trading et al.
