Dr Brian Pinto is Chief Economist, Emerging Markets, at GLG in London. Earlier, he was at the World Bank for close to 30 years, where his focus was on transition economics, growth policy and sovereign debt. His book, How Does My Country Grow? Economic Advice through Story-Telling, which documents his World Bank experience, was published by Oxford University Press in September 2014.
