Brittany Vasquez is a PhD Candidate in Public Policy and Sociology at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on evaluating school finance systems and reforms and other federal and state policies aimed at reducing educational inequality. Her research has been funded by the Institute for Education Sciences of the U.S. Department of Education, Policy Impacts of Harvard University, Poverty Solutions of the University of Michigan, and the Spencer Foundation.  Vasquez earned her MA in Sociology from the University of Michigan and her BA in Sociology from Wake Forest University.
