Çağatay Bircan is a Senior Research Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan after graduating from Williams College. His main research interests are in international trade, entrepreneurial finance, banking, and development, with a special focus on innovation, productivity, and technological diffusion.
