Carlo Medici is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Brown University. He completed his Ph.D. at Northwestern University in June 2024. Carlo is an applied microeconomist with research interests spanning economic history, labor economics, and political economy. His work examines contemporary issues in the economics of immigration, labor market institutions, and public sector organizations, leveraging diverse data sources such as administrative records, newly digitized archival data, and publicly available microdata, drawing on both current and historical contexts.
