Chan Yu is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of International Business and Economics. Dr.Yu’s research focuses on the effects of trade shocks on the local labor market, as well as issues of the political economy of trust. She received her PhD degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020, and since then she worked as an Assistant Professor in the School of Insurance at the University of International Business and Economics. She received her B.E. from Wuhan University in 2013 and her M.S. in economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015.
